Matched ceramic-compatible brake-pad set
Vehicle-specific aluminium hats and approved mounting hardware
Configuration for the verified factory caliper
Rotor and pad identification linked to the approved vehicle record
Pre-dispatch surface, dimension and hardware inspection
Installation and controlled bedding guidance
Protected worldwide export packing

VIN and factory brakes

Confirm platform generation, existing rotor/caliper package, OEM references and axle requirement.

Wheel clearance

Check barrel diameter, spoke profile and clearance around the full caliper and rotor assembly.

Factory-caliper compatibility

Confirm the pad shape, caliper part number and complete mounting relationship before release.

Professional installation

Complete torque, fluid, leak, bedding and final road-safety procedures with a qualified technician.

How OWNSILENT manufactures C/SiC rotors

Inside the carbon-ceramic production process

These production references document OWNSILENT's general carbon-ceramic manufacturing process — carbon-fibre preparation, preform production and precision machining. They are reference production photography and are not specific to this vehicle.

Layered cylindrical carbon sample

The portrait composition highlights the sample's stacked fibre layers and exposed core while preserving its complete height.

Mixed carbon preform blanks

The selected wide view shows different blank forms and thicknesses without assigning a process stage not proven by the image.

Carbon preform production batch

This clear batch view records the range of visible ring profiles and stacked forms awaiting later operations.

Frequently asked questions

Evoque carbon-ceramic upgrade, explained

Why upgrade an Evoque to carbon-ceramic brakes?+

A carbon-ceramic upgrade reduces rotational and unsprung weight, improves fade resistance under sustained heavy use, and resists the corrosion that affects iron rotors over time.

Does this fit both the L538 and L551 generations?+

No single dimension covers both. Rotor diameter, thickness, offset, hat depth and caliper clearance are confirmed against the verified platform and VIN before production.

Can the factory calipers be retained?+

Yes, in the applications OWNSILENT supports the upgrade rotor is engineered around the verified factory caliper. Its part number, mounting geometry, pad shape and condition must agree with the approved specification before production is confirmed.

Is this a direct bolt-on upgrade?+

The rotor and hardware are engineered to the confirmed factory mounting relationship, but professional installation, torque checks and bedding remain required for a safe conversion.

What information should I send for a quotation?+

Send the VIN, model generation and powertrain, wheel size, clear photographs of the current rotors and calipers, and any OEM part numbers visible on the components.

Who should install the upgrade?+

Installation, torque procedures, brake-fluid checks, bedding and final road-safety inspection must be completed by a qualified brake technician.
