Technical guide 01

Carbon-Fibre Supply and Creel Management

Fibre packages are arranged on creel racks and guided toward textile equipment with controlled traceability, orderly feed and handling. Fibre grade and tension settings remain batch-specific production parameters.

01

Organised fibre supply

Large creel systems keep many packages accessible while their tow paths move toward the production equipment. Orderly routing reduces crossed paths and supports repeatable material handling.

02

Batch identity and traceability

Each package and prepared roll should remain connected to its supplier, material batch and production schedule. Photographs demonstrate the physical system; the batch record confirms the material identity.

03

Protected handling before processing

Fibre packages and collected rolls require clean, controlled handling. Visible condition, contamination risk and storage arrangement should be reviewed before material advances.

Fibre spool handling

Spools and feed equipment provide context for material handling; supplier grade requires batch documentation.

Frequently asked questions

Which manufacturing parameters require controlled production records?+

Material grade, machine settings, tolerances and acceptance results require controlled production records and measured inspection results.

Do the visible preform sizes identify a specific vehicle?+

No. Vehicle application is approved only after VIN, axle, brake hardware and wheel-clearance review.

Are unpictured furnace or silicon-infiltration stages being claimed?+

Carbonisation and silicon infiltration require confirmed process records and are outside this stage.
