Custom-Made & Sourced-to-Order Purchases

All OWNSILENT-manufactured parts are custom made to your approved vehicle details, specification and finish. We do not offer ready-made stock for immediate dispatch.

Genuine and used parts are sourced to order from third-party suppliers; they are not manufactured by OWNSILENT. The part number, compatibility, condition and included components must be confirmed in writing before you approve sourcing.

This policy applies to orders placed directly with Own Silent International Limited through our website, quotation or invoice. The terms disclosed and agreed for your order apply; a later website update does not retrospectively remove an existing agreed right.

Final Sale — No Change-of-Mind Returns or Refunds

All custom-made orders and all genuine or used parts sourced to order are final sale. We do not offer voluntary cancellations, returns, refunds or exchanges for a change of mind, a change of vehicle or project, or an incorrect specification supplied and approved by the customer.

There is no voluntary cancellation grace period after an order is placed. An order being in verification, awaiting production, awaiting sourcing or awaiting dispatch does not create a change-of-mind cancellation or refund entitlement. Do not place an order until you have reviewed its requirements and these terms.

These restrictions do not exclude rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded. Incorrect, misdescribed, damaged or defective goods are reviewed separately under the Return & Refund Policy and applicable law.

Genuine & Used Parts

Genuine and used parts are procured for your specific order and are also final sale for change-of-mind requests. Confirm the part number, vehicle compatibility, supplier description, condition, disclosed wear or repairs, photographs where supplied, included accessories and any written warranty before authorizing sourcing. A genuine part is not necessarily new; the written order must identify the agreed condition.

Disclosed wear or a disclosed limitation that you accepted is not, by itself, a defect. Supply of a different, misdescribed or defective part is reviewed separately. Being genuine, used or sourced to order does not by itself remove mandatory consumer rights.

Specification Approval & Changes

Review and approve the vehicle details, part number where applicable, dimensions, finish, quantity, included components and any disclosed condition or wear before production or sourcing is authorized. Ask us to clarify anything uncertain before ordering.

Requests to change an approved specification are subject to written feasibility, price and lead-time confirmation. We do not promise that an approved order can be changed. Customer errors in approved specifications are not grounds for a voluntary return or refund; an error by OWNSILENT is reviewed under the claim process below.

Incorrect, Misdescribed, Damaged or Defective Goods

Contact sales@ownsilent.international promptly with your order or invoice number and a description of the issue. Stop installation or use if it could be unsafe or worsen the problem. Avoid further drilling, cutting, painting, bonding, wiring, coding or other permanent alteration while the issue is reviewed.

  • Provide photographs of the part, labels and reported issue, and the approved order specification or part number.
  • For a fitment or performance issue, provide relevant vehicle details, measurements, installation records and technician findings where available.
  • For transit damage, provide the shipment reference, packaging photographs and any unboxing video available.

Inspect the shipment on arrival and report visible transit damage within 24 hours where possible. Keep the packaging and labels, photograph the damage and, where possible, record a continuous unboxing video. Missing video or a later report does not automatically remove rights under applicable law; defects that become apparent later should be reported promptly after discovery.

We review the supplied evidence and may request a reasonable inspection. An accepted claim may result in repair, replacement, supply of the correct part, a price reduction or a refund, as appropriate to the issue and applicable law. The final-sale rule does not prevent these remedies. Warranty and fitment claims are assessed under the same protection for mandatory rights.

Return Authorization & Shipping

Contact us for written return instructions before sending a part back. We will confirm the return destination, packaging requirements, reference and shipping arrangements. Do not send goods to a registered-office address or supplier without instructions. A return authorization allows inspection and does not, by itself, confirm a refund.

Keep the relevant components, accessories and packaging where available. Installation or modification may affect evidence and responsibility for damage it causes; it does not automatically remove a remedy for an unrelated defect or a right under applicable law. For an accepted supply-error or defect claim, we will confirm appropriate return costs and arrangements, including costs we are required to bear by law.

Orders We Cannot Fulfil & Verification Issues

Payment alone does not approve production or sourcing. If we cannot supply the agreed order, or cancel it because required verification cannot be completed, we will explain the position and confirm the appropriate refund or reversal. Final-sale terms are not an automatic forfeiture of payment for goods we cannot supply. We will not substitute a different part, condition or specification without your agreement.

Approved Refunds & Costs

We confirm the approved refund amount and method in writing after review and, where reasonably required, inspection of returned goods. We aim to initiate an approved refund within 7 business days after final approval, or sooner where applicable law requires. Bank, card issuer and payment-provider processing can affect when funds appear.

Refunds are made to the original payment method where available. If that is not possible, we will agree a verified alternative with the customer named on the order. Shipping, duties, insurance, currency conversion, labour and other third-party costs are assessed according to the reason for the claim, the agreed resolution and applicable law; they are not automatically excluded when a mandatory remedy requires reimbursement.
